Lao Ministry of Health Delegation Visits Hengguang Sodium & Magnesium Co., Ltd. and Hengrun Chemical Sole Co., Ltd.

On January 27, 2026, a delegation from the Ministry of Health of the Lao People's Democratic Republic visited the intelligent workshop of Lao Hengguang Sodium & Magnesium Co., Ltd., and Hengrun Chemical Sole Co., Ltd where its fully automated production line attracted wide attention. As Laos' first large-scale chlor-alkali chemical production project, the base has successfully filled a local industrial gap.

Leaders from the Ministry of Health emphasized that high-quality chemical raw materials serve is an important foundation for the development of medical and health services in Laos. The mass production of Hengguang Sodium & Magnesium has completely ended Laos' long-term reliance on imports of basic chemical raw materials. They also highly praised the company with three "unexpected" remarks: the excellence of the factory environment, the high level of intelligentization, and the strictness of quality management.

Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions on how chemical raw materials can empower Laos's pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. And reached a consensus to jointly promote technology transfer and localized development, aiming to foster industrial cooperation and contribute to building a China-Laos community with a shared future.
